We completed another practice exercise on Chapter 13; here it is: chapter_13_practice_which_sentence_is_better.doc. I’ll post some more practice exercises (with answers) later tonight. Remember: the Chapter 13 test will be on Monday.
I assigned interviews–these are due on Friday, February 22. The assignment instructions are located on page 163. Refer to Excercise 3 for details. Next week I will talk to you more about interviewing techniques. I will also post a rubric on the blog to help you complete your assignment.
We began a small group activity today. As a part of our focus on Chapter 3, Audience, we are working some of the Alternative Projects available on page 42 in your book. I am looking for a final product–a paper, memo, or letter–by the beginning of class next Friday. We’ll have a little time to work on this Monday (after the test) as well as on Wednesday (after the interview discussion).
